Ultra’tect was the need for a cover that would keep it, color and strength developed by prolonged exposure outdoors, while providing a high degree of water resistance and UV protection at a reasonable price. Ultra’tect is dyed from the solution WeatherMax ® SL fabric. Made in the USA. Colorfast – The color is to be added to the polymer it is extruded into yarn form for maximum fade resistance. (Each fiber is a solid color, not surfaced dyed.) Superior resistance – Fabrics are resistant to sagging because the fibers are designed to have minimal stretch. Strong – Using double 150 denier yarns in both machine and cross direction (2 / 150 ‘s MD & CD) helps a higher strength and better water resistance than the use of single 300 denier yarn. Waterproof – protects a highly water repellent Hydromax coating on both sides of the fabric before rain is keeping the fabric breathable. Excellent UV Protection – Ideal for applications that are under prolonged sun exposure and extreme elements. Easy to use – the stuff Ultra’tect weight “just right” for everyday use. . . hard enough to stay in place and light enough to easily handle on a day to day basis.
